The Yukon Quest 300 is set to start in Fairbanks, Alaska this Saturday, February 9th. Running from Fairbanks to Stepping Stone and then to the finish line in Pelly Crossing. The 300 mile race is not only a popular training race for experienced
mushers it is also providing a quality
learning environment for beginning long-distance mushers. Fourteen mushers have signed up for the 2008 race: Randy Chappel, Jocelyne LeBlanc, Fabrizio Lovati, Rudi Niggemeier, Aliy Zirkle, Allen Moore, Devan Currier, Jason Reppert, Blake Matray, Josh Cadzow, Simi Morrison, Dale Curry, Alyssa Quaile, Eric Rogers
