Why should I send news to Dogsled.com?
Our website is viewed by thousands each day and is dedicated to making our news as real and personal as possible. Our team is comprised of volunteers, mushing fans, Internet professionals and you! If you have an event that you would like to promote or announce, please feel free to let us know. If you are a mushing fan or interested in contributing images, audio, video or stories about the people, dogs, events or behind the scenes information - we would love to hear from you also!
Will my story get published?
Our goal is to publish as many quality stories, articles, videos and
audio clips as possible. We will edit or reserve the publishing of any
contribution based on our judgment of the quality and correctness of
the content submitted to us. Eventually, we do plan to extend Publisher roles to trusted contributors who are interested in maintaining a regular blog or editorial section on Dogsled.com. Let us know if you are interested!
What kind of content is Dogsled.com looking for?
Obviously, our primary focus is on winter dog sports with an emphasis on mushing events. If you have interesting stories, articles or news related to dog care, training, gear, sleds or similar winter activities - we definitely want to hear about it! Great written articles, quality photographs, audio and video content - whatever your interest or specialty, we'd love to showcase your work.

Copyright questions
For most user-submitted content such as
digital photographs, audio/video clips and written articles we do make
an effort to cite the author/creator either on or in the content we
publish. Please send instructions when submitting your content - if you
have any special requirements. We recommend that you create your own
watermark for digital photographs BEFORE sending them to us. We do ask that we retain publishing rights for any content submitted. Just talk with us and will make it work for everyone involved.
What is the 888 number for?
We setup a phone number to allow event managers and viewers to submit
their own updates to be posted on Dogsled.com. All reports go to the
editor team for review and may (or may not) be edited, reused and publicly presented on the website at our discretion.
