Yukon Quest contributor Major Evans dies at the age
of 91 this past week.Major Evans has given four decades fostering and
maintaining interest in thesport of dog mushing and sled dog racing. Major
has played an integral partin officiating and organizing races and played an
important role as starter for years with the Yukon Quest. He will be
missed. His service will be onFriday the 12th of October at 2pm at Sacred
Heart Cathedral on 4th Ave inWhitehorse. More details about Major Evans
