Jlona Richey, teacher and mushing photographer, was involved in a serious car accident this afternoon in Anchorage, Alaska. Reports indicate she is in serious condition, but no injuries considered life threatening at the time of this update.

Update: 10PM AKST 12/19/06
Jlona has received reconstructive surgery on her nose and has two chipped vertebrae. Her husband Phil says she is going to be one sore puppy but should hopefully be home from the hospital Wednesday.
