January 19, 2008 is the 2nd annual stage race. A re-enactment of the 1925 Alaska Serum run that is done on the Virginia Creeper Trail. Don't miss this fun.

January 20, 2008 the Siberian Husky Rescue in Bristol Virginia will be hosting the 2nd annual Blue Ridge Dryland Challenge with 1, 2 4 & 6 dog teams. (1 & 2 dog - 2 1/2 miles,  4 & 6 dog - 5 miles) This is a trophy only race - no purse.
