Due to poor race route conditions through downtown Glennallen, the Copper Basin 300 race start has been relocated to the Hub at the Glenn/Richardson Highway junction. Still a convenient, accessible spot for spectators who want to watch the race start, this location will provide a safer start for the mushers and dogs. The Copper Valley Chamber of Commerce Visitor Center will be open for spectators and participants to get in out of the cold. Twenty three mushers have signed up to date. The first musher leaves the chute at 10:00 a.m. on January 12th, 2008!!
