Jessica Klejka, a two time veteran of the Junior Iditarod, chats with us while she prepares her team for the start.
|
Jessica Klejka (Bethel, AK, USA) will run her third Jr. Iditarod. She is a junior in the Bethel Regional High School where she participates in cross country, decathlon and pep band. She also enjoys running, reading and camping. She is the oldest of seven kids. She says the dogs are trained entirely by her brothers, sisters, her dad and her. "We run dogs every day after school. She plans to go to college after graduation and says she will continue mushing.
