I chose the book after seeing it on the Dogsled.com web site, and having spent 1 1/2 weeks in Alaska this past summer. While there we toured Anchorage, Denali, Jeff King's Homestead, and the Iditarod HQ in Wasilla so I really felt that I could relate to the setting of the book.
