 Congratulations go out to Don Galloway from Makinen, Mn - Winner of the Beargrease Mid-Distance Marathon, January 28th with a time of 9:59:54. The John Beargrease Sled Dog Marathon is considered one of the most prestigious sled dog race in the lower 48 States, attracting mushers and spectators from around the world including many from the United States, Canada & Europe. It’s one of the longest races outside Alaska, covering nearly 400 miles of difficult terrain.Don shares a kennel with partner and wife August Galloway, who he met working at a sled dog business eleven years ago. Don works full time as a health practitioner in Virginia/Cherry, MN. Click here for complete race results.
