Jeff Holt Scratches at Finger Lake |

 At 5:03 this evening (March 05, 2007) musher Jeff Holt made the decision to scratch from the 2007 Iditarod. The decision was made after being evaluated by race officials at Finger Lake. Approaching Finger Lake, Jeff said he felt a sharp pain, extreme discomfort and blacked out. He was able to guide his team into Finger Lake, where after scratching he and his team were transported.
