Each year the Iditarod coverage begins with loads of "Pomp and Circumstance" as the first Saturday of March arrives. Shortly after the excitement in Anchorage dies down and the front runners make it over Rainy Pass - media attention tends to focus on the famous names and the leaders of the race. There are many more tales to tell...and Deborah is certainly one of them.
We caught up with the current Red Lantern contender at the Klondike 300 this year, where 61 year old Deborah Molburg Bicknell talks about her many years of mushing and recent return to racing after two years in retirement.
