 The 2nd annual GinGin 120 kicks off December 9-10th, 2006 Near Paxson,
Alaska. This popular sled dog race is open to all women 18 years and
older. This is a mid distance race of 120 miles. Start time 10:00
am at the Meier’s Lake Roadhouse, Meier’s Lake. Mass start.
Mandatory pre-race mushers meeting @ 8:00 am Saturday December 9th
at Meier’s Lake Roadhouse. Mile 171 Richardson Hwy. Purse: Minimum
Purse $3000.00 Divided between top 5 finishers 1st place - $1000.00
/ 2nd place- $800.00/ 3rd place- $ 600.00/ 4th place- $400.00 5thplace
- $200.00 Prizes will also be given for Veterinary care, Sportsmanship,
Red Lantern award, and a special “Woman of GIN GIN 120 2006”
award.
Each musher finishing GG120 will receive a race completion
