The Exxon-Mobil sprint race is scheduled for saturday Feb 9th and Sunday Feb 10th - the race course is 16 miles each day. The race starts at 2pm each day. The Exxon Open will be held at the Beach Lake Trails this year in Chugiak, Alaska, hosted by the Chugiak Dog Mushers (Directions available at www.chugiakdogmushers.com ) Among the mushers signed up for the Exxon Open this year are: John Erhart, Ed Wood, John or Mari Wood, Egil Ellis, Jason Dunlap, Arleigh Reynolds, Mike Cox, Curtis Erhart, Eddie Dayton, Marvin Kokrine, Gary Markley, Ken Chezik, Heather Hardy, Bill Kornmuller, Courtney Moore (Rookie), Israel Silas (Rookie), Gary Frank (Rookie), & Jo Wood Purse for the races: $6,0000.00. Come out and enjoy the fun. A warm up building is available with great window views of the fisnish line.
