Here's a video of two teams leaving the start of the 2007 Don Bowers Memorial race. Musher Don Smidt's team runs off course and needs a little redirection. Things don't always go as planned, but with a cool head and good dogs - it can have a happy ending!

| Donna's work is terrific. Gives those of us with one inch of snow (yay!) a real sense of what it's like, and what this sport done well is about. I was so amused by the lead dog who'd gone astray taking the time for a roll in the snow! |
