Cascade QuestMushers signed up for the '07 Cascade Quest 

As of January 16, 2006 there are only a few mushers signed up for the 12 dog class race - 200 mile race (an Iditarod pre-qualifying race) and just over a half dozen signed up for the 6 dog class race.

Event schedule

Thursday, January 25th

Lake Wenatchee Recreation Club
12 p.m. – 3 p.m. Vet Check (12 and 6 dog only)
5 p.m. Mushers Meeting dinner (mushers, handlers and volunteers only)
7 p.m. Mushers Meeting
6-8 p.m. Volunteer Meeting to assign positions

Friday, January 26th

Lake Wenatchee Recreation Club
10 a.m. 6 dog 75 mile stage race leg #1 start
12 p.m. – 2 p.m. 6 dog finish, public “Meet the Mushers” with the teams
2 p.m. 12 dog 200 mile Iditarod Qualifier starts
6:30 p.m. 12 dog teams begin arriving at Ardenvoir- Checkpoint #1

Activities after teams depart:
1. Drive to Ardenvoir- dinner and checkpoint activity
2. Plain Hardware Rentals: skis, snowshoes, tubes
3. Dinner at Mtn. Springs Lodge, horse drawn sleigh rides

Saturday, January 27th

Lake Wenatchee Recreation Club
3 a.m. - 6 a.m. 12 dog teams begin arriving at Lake Wenatchee Recreation Club- Checkpoint #2
6 a.m. - 10 a.m.  Breakfast at Lake Wenatchee Recreation Club, Pancake feed (public welcome)
7 a.m. – 12 p.m. 12 dog teams depart for Trinity- Checkpoint #3
9 a.m. Sporting Class drivers meeting
10 a.m. Sporting Class starts 2-6 dog 12 mile fun run
12 p.m. 5 p.m. 12 dog teams begin arriving at Trinity- Checkpoint #3
4 p.m. 6 dog leg #2 start
5 p.m. 12 dog teams begin departing Trinity for last leg
7 p.m. 6 dog teams begin arriving at Trinity for campout
10 p.m. 12 dog teams begin finishing at Lake Wenatchee Recreation Club

Sunday, January 28th

Lake Wenatchee Recreation Club
1 a.m. - 2 a.m. 12 dog teams continue finishing
6 a.m. – 10 a.m. Breakfast at Lake Wenatchee Recreation Club, Pancake feed (public welcome)
8:30 a.m. Sporting Class drivers meeting
9 a.m. Sporting Class re-start
9:30 a.m.- 12 p.m. 6 dog finish
3 p.m. Awards Ceremony and Banquet at Lake Wenatchee Recreation Club (public welcome)
