Brief history of Dogsled.com
Dogsled.com has been online since 1996 with a mission to provide independent media coverage, community and learning resources for winter dog sports, mushing and dog race news.

Historically, Dogsled.com has seen over 1.3 million viewers in a single month. In 1998, Dogsled.com was featured in a CNN Headlines news feature that resulted in millions of viewers in a single week.

Since 1999, Dogsled.com has been owned by Kevin Kastner and was relaunched in April 2006 as a product of his new company, Popchair Creative, LLC.

We believe that Dogsled.com has the potential to regain its glory of the earlier days and is now positioned to become the #1 destination for all things mushing and winter dog sport related.

Demographics
Our visitors span the entire world, but our primary audience is North America. During peak events, the global interest does grow significantly (specifically during the Iditarod race).  e-mail for details

Banner Ads
Banner advertisements are available in several sizes and locations. Our standard placement of advertisements are located in the left column of every page on the site.  The prominent placement is directly beneath the Dogsled.com logo (180x150 pixels).  Other placement including text links and in story links are available - call or e-mail us for a custom quote.

Ad management tools
We provide the tools for you to manage your own campaigns and track the activity of your banners.The tool has options to start or start specific ads, adjust the priority of one ad over another, etc.  You can fine tune the ads that are most successful and prioritize which ads to show by day, time or even by keywords.Statistics are viewable online or may be exported to a .csv file to sort the data using your own tools.
